Original Boski silk is a highly delicate natural fiber and must be Dry Cleaned only. Avoid washing with chlorine bleach, avoid drying in direct sunlight, and always iron on medium-cool heat. Do not spray perfumes directly onto Boski fabric to prevent staining.
Yes, pure cotton and handloomed khaddar are natural fibers that experience minor contraction upon the first wash. We strongly recommend soaking the unstitched fabric in lukewarm clean water for 2-3 hours (shrink process) and drying it flat in shade before handing it to your tailor.
